Bowie here!

You'll be seeing a lot more of me tomorrow, I'm just taking a few moments to pop in and introduce myself.  The molester of berries, and (can you tell?) severely obsessed with all things David Bowie!  I just have to say that I had a lot of fun with my set, simple though it may be, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.  I'm blessed to have the friends that I do, else I never would have found ISM.  I am enthralled with the idea of women having the freedom to explore themselves in a truly open and intimate way, share themselves with the world as who they really are, to show what they're really made of.  There are many reasons why I chose to participate with the site, the biggest being that I am glad to find any possible way to rebel against the hypocrisy of the country I live in.  I'm constantly disgusted with how often America is portrayed as this "enlightened" and "liberated" country, yet no other country displays such prude and Puritan distaste for the natural, nude human form as we do here.  Really, who else doesn't find it extremely odd that it's okay here for children to be subjected to the bloody violence constantly broadcast on American television in the form of primetime television and news, yet any below the age of thirteen cannot see a film that might show a man and woman/man and man/woman and woman engaged in the most passionate, trusting act?  What's WITH that?  You can show an American contractor beheaded by Al-Qaeda terrorists, but you cannot show them the beauty of the naked body?  WHY DO YOU THINK THERE'S SUCH AN OBSESSION WITH THE SOCIAL STANDARD FOR "BEAUTY"?  WHY DO YOU THINK OBESITY IS THE NUMBER ONE KILLER?  Personally, America and its current state of being depresses and disgusts me.  In the interim, I'm more than happy to do all in my power to show that I am a bigger, better person than that.  And I sure as hell know how to maul a strawberry.

I couldn't agree more with your sentiments! I live across the pond and I have always been disturbed by the duplicity of standards in the US of A. On the one hand we see the States as a source of physical violence and as a major source of pornography, yet on the other hand we see staid, almost Victorian principles on parade. Good on you for being so open about your feelings and your undoubted dedication to the serious art of strawberry mauling. What next I wonder - passion fruit !!!

I think what's even more disturbing is the fact that we seem to need someone like Michael Moore to jump up and make our demands for us, when we really ought to be able to speak for ourselves.  The man has unleashed nothing more than biased propaganda, and has admitted as much to the press, yet he's revered as some sort of political messiah simply for stating quite a lot of the obvious.  You'll have to forgive me, I've quite a distaste for the fellow -- he withheld important video footage of American soldiers molesting and abusing an Iraqi detainee for nearly seven months, footage that he had months before the images from Abu Ghraib were broadcast.  His excuse for such negligence is weak and I find it odd that he hasn't been detained for obstruction of justice, or somesuch.

Anyway, I was actually considering a Reload with a lucky strand of strategically placed Christmas lights.  Not the colorful blinky ones, no;  the soft, pure white ones.  How does that sound?

Without trying to push the quirks in the persons living across the pond from me (mainly because we Brits have enough of our own), I do find that Mr Moore seems to be acting as a mouthpiece for all the things that individuals would rather not say for themselves. It's a shame he does it so underhandedly. Hey Ho..... that's the human race for you. Back to the more pleasant side; I think that your idea of soft white lights, strategically place sounds good. Just be careful that you don't run out of lights before you run out of strategy ;-)
