Puzzling anomaly

I would like to express my puzzlement at an apparent anomaly in the way that ISM presents itself.
The ethos of the site is to ridicule "porn" sites by presenting the female form in a way that is totally controlled by the model and this approach is something with which I totally agree. Yet there is an indication, from both the existing models and from Head, that anyone may put themselves forward as a prospective model. I concluded that the male gender must be included in this and considered "having a go" myself. I just wonder what the reaction would be to a male, who is about twice the age of most of the female models, shooting himself? Probably most of the members would wish that he had - literally!
So Head, which way does the thinking really run?

Last year we put a call out for guys to send in samples.  To put it mildly, the applications were awful.  Well most were, but it didn't look like we'd get anywhere near enough to make a site out of, or even an annexe to this site.  Most females look pretty, naked.  Most males don't.  And most females would rather see other naked females, than naked males.

I'll agree to this, Head. I'm a girl (no, really tongue) and I love looking at other girls nekkid. Looking at guys, you have to get a pretty specific body type to enjoy looking at him. And I'm not talking young and chiselled - I'm not all that into muscles myself. But it's still more difficult to get that 'look'.

Sorry about the delay but I've been on holiday, (oh and replying with my other user name but Tinker ran out and I haven't renewed it).
I agree with you entirely Gabrielle, it is very difficult to find an attractive part of the male anatomy, as we don't seem to have been designed for the purposes of being naturally attractive in our naked state, unlike the female gender.
I thought I would throw the question out, just to see what sort of reply came back and, it seems from yours and Head's replies added to my own, that the feeling is consensual.
