Hey there ws,

If you're automatically misogynistic for posting in a porn forum, then I guess so am I, zille, liandra, etc!  Being a misogynist is relative to how you treat and interact with women in a sense that is true to your heart and character, not where you frequent.  Natalka's artist statement is a strong one, true, but I'm a big fan of passion in any form, and love how ISM supports all types of women from all walks of life...from 'passive' to 'aggressive'.  And we all go through an 'angry at the world' stage - sometimes, we grow out of it, other times we fashion it into something more productive and pro-active.  Besides, the world would indeed be a boring place if inhabited only by women who behaved as meek little kittens.

Catt: true. Danger: funny if you intended it to be funny. ;o)

Catt, I totally agree with your statement about passion and angry times in one's life. But I also think that one shouldn't take life seriously ALL the time as this causes wrinkles in your face (and in other people's faces) - or even worse reactions. There is already more than enough anger in the world and laughter is sometimes the best exorcism. See (this one's especially for you):

(The left witch says: "No, you dork, you cannot choose it freely." -  The one on the right: "Yeah, but I'm allgergic to cats.")

And also: doesn't every woman once in a while like to behave like a classic kitten and every even most sensitive man like to behave like a caveman? I think such little roleplay in a relationship can be fun and allows you to play with (and mock about) stereotypes like "women are submissive" and "men are brutal"...

Ugh, Sam

Re: baiting NATALKA

Catt,
here's my interest: Natalka is the EXACT type of person i hope to come back to earth in my next reincarnation. i HATE most guys myself (admitted it has alot to do with being (*) by my father's friends when i was a little boy, but still...)

i want to be a woman using men's own weaknesses against them, and love women more than i feel i can as a man, where my motives are always questioned as "ulterior". Going to Africa and helping women with fistulas like i read about in Glamour.

It's too late now, my life is decided, i live for my wife and kids. but in 50 or so years and 80 days... then it'll start, i hope. Born as an infant girl and remembering what i know now.

Scott

I'm way too drunk to answer this right now, Scott.  Let's take a rain check.

Sam, I totally agree re: not taking life too seriously.  But Natalka's a youngun (not an old chook* like me) and therefore should be given free reign to flip the bird* on occasion.

As for roleplay, shouldn't someone start a thread on that?  Let me go refresh my Wild Turkey*...

(* there are WAY too many poultry references in this thread...)

Catt,

true again. But judging from your tiny avatar picture you are far from animal waste processing! I bet your feline appearance would put many younger chicken to shame. Enjoy your Thanksgiving food mutation & have a good one,

Not too many. Announcing chicken hawk tendancies would be or seafood references.

NOW and the Lesbian Avengers thrive on new crops of angry young women as the older ones mellow out. The leaders help direct that energy to good use. Its like environmental groups and Peta - they get naked for causes. Use the angst while you've got it!

Mellowing out sucks in some ways - I lost all angst to access for dancing to industrial music. Just to age (Henry Rollins ish) myself again, concerts I've been to that I can remember: Ministry, KFMDM, Front242, My life with the Thrill Kill Cult, Controlled Bleeding, the Dresden Dolls, and Pigface. No major injuries slam-dancing, but that and other wax just gathers dust now...

A year or so ago a 50-something French woman was getting annoyed by the minimum wage idiots at an airport checkpoint here. The TSA (transportation Safety Administration) is better  known as the T&A. Some dolt was baffled by an underwire bra setting off alarms as a possible weapon of mass distruction. She had enough; removed her blouse and bra in front of everyone and went through the detector again. No more questions and she went to her flight.
