ARTISTS STATEMENT

It takes a lot for a woman to learn to love her body these days. Constantly throughout my life I have, as I'm sure others have, been bombarded by images of women in the media with what are considered perfect bodies and beautiful faces. So many young girls are misinformed on what 'beauty' means. Now, knowing this, whenever I see magazine covers or advertisments most of the women in them seem unreal, far from unique and almost ugly to me. Project ISM is a great place and opportunity to discover true beauty and perfection. I had so much fun doing this shoot and it only increased my love for my body.
