"I wanted my shoot to be very 'flower power'. I'm obsessed with the 60's/70's and that Summer of Love vibe. My house was built in the 60's and the furnishings are quite dated so it goes well with that feel. I always have plants and flowers in the house and I have a garden so I used these in a cheeky way. The next-door neighbours were trimming their hedge while I was shooting in the garden, which I found hilarious but it made me a bit nervous. My heart was beating fast and I got a little flushed. It was fun and a bit naughty being naked literally metres away from them! I destroyed my housemate's bouquet of flowers, which they weren't too happy about. I used them to shower myself in petals, which felt and smelt really great. I never told my housemate's what their flowers were used for. What a liberating and subversive experience, I want to do it all again."
