ISM = 528,997 images in 12,130 folios from 8,303 unique artists! Project_ISM was launched on July 1st, 2003. Since then we have added new folios every day, usually twice a day, and if you join now you'll have access to every single one! The 'prime' folios are first time submissions from new ism contributing artists. The folio is displayed on the front page of the site for 24 hours, and in that time, the public can freely view some of the more modest self-portraits. Image size varies from a respectable 1024 pixels (old folios) to 1280 pixels (from 2006) up to 1600 pixels (from 2013).
