naming names

I wonder if it might be a better policy not to permit the use of someone's name in a personal context (specifically, having had an intimate relationship) without that person's express permission; even if that person named is famous.

Russell Brand is famous for being a womaniser and bragging about his sex life - I really doubt he would mind. I would link you some evidence of this but I'm sure you'd find it too crude.
