| ARTISTS STATEMENT |
I AM PROUD OF WHO I AM! I love that this is the foundation for this project. That it gives women a means to discover and see their own beauty through image. It took me quite some time to be comfortable in my own skin, let alone love myself. This is a huge step for many women because we are constantly brainwashed to believe we are never going to be skinny enough, tan enough or good enough. It is great that this project is an outlet for that priceless realisation. Nudity is too taboo in most places, we come into this world nude, we should be free to love it and show it off. Instead we are forced to hide and to be ashamed. Promote confidence! Promote diversity! Promote proud, beautiful naked women! This project was such a freeing, exhilarating exploration of the beauty of my naked body. I highly recommend it.
